BASF is proud to now offer Trelona Compressed Termite Bait for use in Trelona Advance® Termite Bait System (ATBS). Trelona Compressed Termite Bait features the new active ingredent novaluron which provides faster termite elimination while using less bait.
Trelona Compressed Termite Bait contains a purified cellulose-based matrix compressed into tablets, offering termites an irresistible food source. These tablets contain the chitin synthesis inhibitor novaluron, which disrupts any physical process that involves chitin, including molting and egg production. Because it exploits termites’ social food sharing behavior, even termites that do not directly feed on the bait are affected.
With Trelona Compressed Termite Bait, termite control can be achieved within a few months, depending on colony size, environmental conditions and availability of competing food sources.
Trelona Compressed Termite Bait is sold as an agency product through BASF distribution partners, so consistent pricing is ensured. In the end, that gives the PMPs a clearer understanding of cost per home, taking the upfront guesswork out of bait cost.
